​A husband took to Twitter to explain how his wife, a professional architect, always has to take him with her to meetings for her to be taken seriously by the men.

According to Jeremy McLellan, his wife, who is a professional, will try to explain her point to men she meets in the course of her work and they will claim not to follow but when he, who has absolutely no understanding of the profession, repeats what she’s saying, they listen to him.

His tweet led other men and women who have witnessed sexism in the line of work to speak up.
