2019 Election; Atiku Abubakar Finally Signs Peace Accord. Photos
Former vice president and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has finally signed the 2019 General Elections Peace Accord.
Atiku signed the document in the full glare of members of the Peace Committee headed by a former Head of STate, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd), in Abuja.
He was accompanied to the ceremony by National Chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus and other party stalwarts.
Atiku was absent yesterday at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, when candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Muhammadu Buhari and others signed the peace accord.
He said he was not invited to the ocassion by the National Peace Committee, led by a former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd).
