More information on the cast and crew of the next film’s production was provided in a little clip that the director posted on her Instagram feed. With the set design shown in the clip, it appears like this movie will transport us a little bit back in time.
The cast of A Tribe Called Judah includes Nse Ikpe Etim, Timini Egbuson, Jide Kene A, Nosa Rex, Genoveva Umeh, Uzor Arukewe, Olumide Owuru, and Boma Akpore, among others.
The film was co-directed by Akindele and Adeoluwa Owu, also known as Captain Degzy, with Barny Emordu serving as the director of photography. On August 11, 2023, the 35-day shoot for the production came to an end.
Another post shows Egbuson dressed in a silly costume, which suggests that something amusing and joyful is about to happen.
Akindele congratulated the cast and crew and made a suggestion that the movie might be released in December 2023. God bless the cast and crew of #tribecalledjudah, it said in the caption. Men, take attention! I’m sure you’re all prepared, but it’s going to be a DECEMBER TO REMEMBER with a #tribecalledjudah.
Even though there hasn’t been any word on the movie’s plot or synopsis, we won’t be listening too closely while we wait because we know that post-production is now underway.
