On Friday, a variety of hawkers in Abuja begged Mr. Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), to help them expand their enterprises rather than take away their source of income.
In separate interviews with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the hawkers—who had been operating on several FCT streets—made the appeal.
