Akwa Ibom APC Governorship Candidate Goes Bankrupt, Set To Sell Properties
Nsima Ekere Set to Sell Campaign Ground to Uma Ukpai for 800 million naira
~It will be used as car park – church member
The
embattled and defeated governorship candidate of APC, Mr. Nsima Ekere
has sold his massive campaign ground along Edet Akpan Avenue to a
renowned clergy, Rev. Uma Ukpai.
It is gathered that the
development which has further shrinked the hope and morale of Mr.
Ekere’s followers, is to help the APC man fund his tribunal court case.
According
to revelations, Ekere went bankrupt after the elections because of
massive fraud played on him by the APC elders and selected youths who
siphoned dollars meant for his not so many followers for their personal
interests and projects.
It is learnt that Nsima out of frustration has resorted to barking up the wrong tree
by
heeding the advise of moribund and unreverend APC Bishop Josephine
Eggar who is noted for false prophesy to sell of the property and raise
money for tribunal case pursuance. The governorship candidate who is
always a prey to desperate politicians who see him as a jittery and
naive politician which they can easily extort money from at will,
engaged the services of estate valuers to sell off the campaign ground
which had been taken over by grasses.
Information gathered by
this reporter contained that the Peoples Democratic Party had placed a
bid to the valuers through their lawyers but Ekere to curtail the huge
embarrassment of selling the campaign ground to the PDP since he cannot
withstand the shame after losing out at the poll, opted to bite the
bullet and do business with Evangelist Ukpai at 800 billion naira.
Mr
Ekere who was heavily defeated and forced to budge up by the PDP has
refused to dig his heels, a source disclosed that the so called APC
elders are up to finish him financially and make him go bankrupt by
pushing him to court so they could have continuous flow of income
through his refusal to accept defeat, congratulate the governor and join
hands to build a better Akwa Ibom State for the future of his kids and
other Akwa Ibomites.
A church member who begged for annonymity
revealed that the church bought the campaign ground to convert it to a
parking space. He claimed that the church faced difficulty in parking
vehicles each time they have service, stressing that the heavy traffic
on Edet Akpan Avenue, will reduce by reason of the church acquisition of
the Nsima Ekere campaign ground.
It could be recalled that this same visibly frustrated and sacked former NDDC boss wasted the two- year NDDC slot of Akwa Ibom State in order to become governor of the oil rich state.
