Angry Youths Destroy Abia State Community Over Land Dispute(photos)

I
happened to be in Ozarike autonomous community, Umunneochie LGA in Abia
state yesterday evening for an occasion, then i had series of sporadic
gunshots and people running for their lives, it was later i enquired and
learnt that is was the youths from the neighbouring village Amalato
that invaded and destroyed people’s properties over communal land.
Peoples shops were burnt, bikes and vehicles were destroyed. A member of
the royal family was shot on both legs but later taken to the hospital
before I could take pictures. I still thank God i was in a fenced
building and not outside.
