APC Internal Crisis!!! Buhari, Oshiomhole Or Tinubu – Who Exactly Is To Blame?

The APC as a political party has been waggling in crises for sometimes now, so Naijaloaded take a look at who actually should be blamed for the crises, Buhari? Oshiomole? Or Tinubu?

1. Buhari – The President is automatically and naturally the father of the party. The APC crises started in 2015 when they were to elect the leadership of the house, as against what used to be the tradition of the President having a preferred choices of who became what at the Senate and House of Representatives.

President Buhari was nonchalant, he shows no concern to where the pendulum should swings, that NASS leadership election was what pitched the likes of Dr. Bukola Saraki, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara and Rt. Hon. Lasun Yusuff against the political camp of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and had it been that President Buhari acted otherwise, the problem which started in as early as 2015 and generated to what we have now may have been forestalled.

2. Oshiomole – it may be unfair to blame the former Governor of Edo state for the crises rocking the APC because the crises started very much earlier before Oshiomole came on board as the National Chairman.

However, it won’t be fair to also exonerate Oshiomole completely from the crises. The problem with Oshiomole started in Osun in the Gubernatorial election in that state which was the first election the APC participated under the Oshiomole led NWC, changing the mood of the Governorship primary election from the delegates system to direct primary generated a lot of controversy which later led to the defection of many prominent party members including but not limited to the former SSG of the state, Alh. Adeoti who left APC for ADP to fly the party Guber flag.

Oshiomole has been accused of serving the interest of some caucus in the party and presently, not less than 4 Governors including Abdul-Aziz Yari of Zamfara, Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun and Rochas Okorochas of Imo are already calling for the replacement of the comrade National Chairman.

There are internal crises of APC in almost all the state of the federation. Oshiomole recently was accused of taking bribe from some candidates to impose them on the party even though they are unpopular while he is also been accused by others for favoring the minority over the majority. Whether the allegations are true or false, one thing that is certain is that Oshiomole has contributed in no small measure to the crises rocking the APC as a party.

3. Tinubu – whatever is happening in the political scene in Nigeria today, either good or bad; Tinubucannot be exonerated from it.

To some section of the APC as a political party, Asiwaju is behind the crises rocking the APC because Asiwaju was the one who vehemently insisted that the former National Chairman, Mr. John Oyegun must go and he managed to get the support of President Buhari to achieve his aim.

He was also the one who installed the present Chairman, therefore to them, it is no surprises that Oshiomole is serving the interest of Tinubu.

Many people belief that Tinubu imposing nature to always wanting to be in control of the party and dictate what happens in all the state of the Federation is the actual cause of the crises in the party.

This section of APC sees Tinubu as a greedy politician who always want to take all and leave nothing else for others and in all sincerity, their claim and allegations cannot be distorted with the wave of a hand.
