He might make a return to Spain, with Villarreal having asked Arsenal about his availability, according to Estadio Deportivo.
Meanwhile Manchester City ace, Raheen Sterling has moved closer and closer to a Chelsea switch.
Daily Mail reports that Sterling, who has been linked with a move to Chelsea for several weeks now, will soon be announced as the Blues’ player as a deal is close.
The deal to take the England international out of Manchester City is expected to be around 52m euros.
