There are some pedestrian bridges in Lagos State that have been vandalized, putting commuters at risk when using the expressway.
In addition to vandalism, a store owner by the name of Uzor claimed that the pedestrian bridge is underused, which contributes to its deterioration.
Gboyega Akosile, the state governor’s chief press secretary, responded to a request for comment by saying that the state will restore all the bridges and that the state security network would get rid of anyone damaging the pedestrian bridge.
