Bala Mohammed, the governor of Bauchi State, revealed that he was unable to sleep for seven days while he was in Abuja fighting to stop “former leaders” in Bauchi from stealing his victory at the polls.
In addition, the governor commended President Bola Tinubu for dismissing the advice of previous Bauchi leaders who claimed the President posed a threat to them.
At a victory rally held in his honor at the Government House in Bauchi, Bala Mohammed revealed this and added that the rule of law was permitted to win in his case.
He said that he would not allow someone “with ulterior motives from nowhere to lead the state,” dedicating his Supreme Court triumph to the people of the state.
