It is tears and pain for the family members of a young lady identified as Peace Vera after she met her untimely end yesterday in a fatal accident in Delta.

It was gathered that the deceased and her friend named Ovo were returning from their school (Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro) and were knocked down by a speeding vehicle at Effurun roundabout while crossing the road to buy something.

Peace was said to have died on the spot while her friend was badly injured in the accident and was rushed to the hospital where she is reportedly in critical condition.

Friends of the deceased have taken to social media to mourn the loss.
