Before and after photos of Zamfara engineer who regained freedom after 4 months in bandits’ captivity (video)

A Zamfara engineer, Bashar Sani Gummi, has regained freedom after 4 months in bandits’ captivity.

Gummi was a kidnapped in the first week of October 5, 2025. 

The abductors released him on Tuesday night, January 27, 2026.

Family members on Wednesday, January 28, shared photos and video of Bashar looking like a shadow of his former self.
