Ben Bruce Reacts To Freezing Of Peter Obi’s Accounts, Slams Magu

Senator Ben Murray Bruce has reacted to the alleged freezing of Bank
accounts belonging to Ex-Anambra state Governor and current
vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic party, PDP, Peter
Obi.

In a statement on social media, Bruce condemned the move,
accusing the Federal government of ‘Anti-democratic attacks’. He also
took a swipe at the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, accusing him of being partisan. He
wrote;

“All of a sudden Peter Obi, the most honest and prudent
Governor Nigeria ever produced is a suspect whose account is frozen?
They can’t even be intelligent and subtle in their anti democratic
attacks.

How can Nigeria snd the international community expect
the same EFCC whose chairman wears a Buhari re-election lapel pin to be
neutral?”
