Beyoncé Is Partners With Adidas For Her ‘Ivy Park’ Clothing Line Relaunch
Beyoncé is further expanding her empire with the relaunch of her Ivy Park clothing line in partnership with Adidas.
The 37-year-old singer is now a “creative partner” for Adidas, developing new footwear and apparel for the brand. This was announced in a joint statement on Beyoncé’s website and on the Adidas website on April 4.
“Adidas and Beyoncé have announced a multi-layered partnership that will include inspiring and empowering the next generation of creators, driving positive change in the world through sports, and identifying new business opportunities,” the statement read.
Three weeks after the announcement, Beyoncé shared a sneak peek of the collection in a series of Instagram photos posing with a sea of shoes wearing a red Adidas leotard.
“This is the partnership of a lifetime for me,” Beyoncé said. “Adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of the business.”
New products from the partnership will soon be available on sale, which will range from lifestyle to sports performance items and focus on “meaningful and rich storytelling.”
The release also notes that, as the owner of Ivy Park, Beyoncé is “one of the first black women to be the sole owner of an athleisure brand.”
