“Ebed-Melek the Cushite said to Jeremiah, “Put these old rags and worn-out clothes under your arms to pad the ropes.” Jeremiah did so. Then they pulled Jeremiah up with the ropes, and lifted him up out of the pit. But Jeremiah remained in the courtyard of the guard.” Jer. 38:12-13
To rescue Jeremiah successfully, rags and worn-out clothes became very useful. Fact is, those things, places and people you despise, may likely be the source(s) of your deliverance, safety or elevation tomorrow. Be careful!
God can use anybody, place or thing!
May you be clothed with the gentleness, simplicity and humility of the LORD. May you not despise the things, places and people, divinely ordained to enhance your destiny. There will always be help at every strategic and vintage corner of your life, in Jesus’ mighty name.
