A sizable boat used in illicit bunkering activity was taken by the Nigerian Navy in the Lagos State neighborhood of Igboelejo.
In response to information from the Falcon Eye Alignment and the Maritime Domain Awareness Facility, the navy crew, according to a statement on Friday, stopped an illegal operation.
A material said to be Premium Motor Spirit and other items were said to be found in 205 drums on the Nigerian Navy ship Beecroft patrol boat, according to the statement.
