On December 31 2018, Chelsea fc announced a new record for revenue generated throughout last season and profit which totaled a whopping sum of £443.4m, which stands at an increase to the previous fiscal year by £82.1m, a 22.7% increase compared to previous season (2016/17 was a record of £361.2m revenue, with £16m in profit) and a profits of £62m.
