Do not drive straight to the spot when you see cattle crossing the highway. Maintain your distance to figure out possible attack or robbery by hoodlums and kidnappers. Their mode of operation is to hide in the bush and move the cattle across the road in order for oncoming vehicles to stop for them to successfully attack. Keep a reasonable distance for easy U-turn.
