Buhari’s Minister Raises Alarm Over Plots To Assassinate Him
Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Pastor Usani Uguru Usani has raised an alarm over plots to assassinate him, according to DailyPost.
The report revealed that Usani is the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River state.
He alleged that the plots which started over fifteen years ago had become thickened as they presently use diabolical means.
Usani spoke on Thursday at the APC secretariat in Calabar after presenting Mrs Helen Effiom as his running mate.
“The plot to assassinate me started fifteen years ago and now they are trying to send us stroke but they keep failing”, Daily Trust quoted him as saying.
“I do politics not to get ovation but to get results and I can assure you that at the end, we shall be vindicated.
“Let all my supporters and party members remain calm and be focused because I will campaign and contest the governorship election for Cross River State in 2019,” he said.
He assured his supporters that President Muhammadu Buhari would win 2019, urging them to mobilize for the APC.
