Contrary
to made believe by the former governor of Anambra state and the
presidential running-mate of People Democratic Party (PDP) Peter Obi,
the Deputy National Publicity Secretary Yekini Nabena, has challenged
him to explain how his administration expended his security vote as
governor.
The Bayelsa born APC chieftain also revealed that the
Atiku presidential campaign team and PDP have turned to the drug dealers
in South Africa for financial assistance “because their Dubai agenda
has collapsed.”
Nabena said the former governor has been parading
himself as free of corrupt acts in his eight years as governor of
Anamra state, revealing that available record showed that Obi was
collecting over N470 million Naira monthly as security vote (N220
million Naira from Local Government and 250 million Naira from the state
FAC accounts).
In a statement Nabena signed on Wednesday in
Abuja, he stated that the former governor Obi professes his Catholicism
for just for political expediency, adding that the former governor’s
alleged relationship with a sect, Columba Olumba.
Nabena, who
signed the statement in his own capacity as a chieftain of the party,
said “several sources have revealed how the PDP and Atiku/Obi cannot
longer run big rallies for lack of funding but had to contact some drug
dealers in South Africa for help.”
On Peter Obi perceived
integrity, Nabena, said: “Given the level of insecurity in Anambra state
, ”Saint” Peter Obi should explain how he expends his security vote
since it is on record that he collects over 470 million naira per month
as security vote (220 million naira from Local Government and 250
million Naira from the state FAC accounts).

deputy spokesman believe that the coming presidential election will be
about the integrity of the candidates and their running-mates which he
added “PDP presidential candidate, Atiku and his running-mate does not
have.”
According to him, “those who knew Peter Obi will attest to
the fact that he has been accused of involving in drug dealing directly
or indirectly since his days as an undergraduate at the University of
Nigeria.
“His brother in-law who incidentally is one of the
hirelings used by him for his nefarious drug trafficking business is
currently languishing in jail in far away London. It is on record that
his closeness to Dubem Obazie was the because Dubem served jail term for
drug trafficking because of Peter Obi.
“Obi should explain to Ndi Anambra the circumstances surrounding his father’s death which remains his best kept secret.”
The
APC chieftain said it is necessary for Nigerians to seriously
torchlights all the presidential candidates and their running-mates,
especially those who claim to have integrity like Peter Obi.
“Obi
should explain his relationship with former Military Administrator,
Governor Ibim Princewill and Col Earnest Kizito Attah of Cross River
State whom he allegedly helped as a conduit to fleece Cross River State
government thus contributing to the under development of the state.”
While
accusing Atiku’s running-mate of double standard, Nabena said: ” Just
as Peter Obi professes his Catholicism for political expediency, we ask
him to summon the moral courage and explain to Catholic faithful his
relationship with the Olumba Olumba Obu (OOO) Cult sect where his wife
is a known member.”
