However, Badaru, who was speaking at the ministerial briefing to launch activities for the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration, pointed out that the Security Debarment Allowance for the previously excluded veterans will be implemented gradually.

The minister praised the armed forces for remaining focused and undaunted in their determination to defeat and overcome security threats facing the country while promising to train and equip military personnel with combat capabilities and contemporary gear to reduce casualties during operations.
