“Don’t do that” : Hillary Clinton scolds husband Bill Clinton after he bumps towards her on busy NYC intersection (video)
A viral video captured a tense but brief moment between former U.S. president Bill Clinton and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton as the couple attempted to cross a busy street in New York City.
The pair were walking in the city after attending an event and visiting their daughter, Chelsea Clinton, when the incident occurred.
Footage shows Bill Clinton smiling as he appeared to bump his wife toward a crosswalk while traffic was still moving, seemingly encouraging her to cross the street early.
Hillary Clinton immediately pulled back and raised her hands in front of her, clearly resisting the move.
“No, no, no, no, no. Don’t do that. Don’t do that,” she said in the video.
Bill Clinton responded with a grin, replying, “That’s not a good idea.”
Moments later, the crosswalk signal changed and the couple, accompanied by what appeared to be members of their security detail, crossed the street safely without incident.
The sighting came just days after the Clintons completed testimony related to an investigation into the government’s handling of the case involving disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Both Bill and Hillary Clinton testified under subpoena before the House Oversight Committee as part of the probe examining how Epstein built connections with prominent figures.
Bill Clinton has previously acknowledged that he had contact with Epstein and took trips that included the financier, though neither he nor Hillary Clinton has been accused of wrongdoing in relation to Epstein’s crimes.
Investigators are examining how Epstein cultivated relationships with influential individuals in an effort to conceal his criminal activities.
