PoliticsNGR earlier today learned that Professor Okey Ibeanu, a commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has been invited by the Department of State Security Services, DSS.
Ibeanu
is reportedly expected to arrive at DSS offices in Abuja at 2 pm on
Wednesday. In the past week, Ibeanu’s house in Enugu has been broken
into, his car vandalized and his laptop and Ipad stolen.
However,
in a telephone chat with our correspondent, Spokesman for the
Department of State Security Services,DSS, Peter Afunanya denied
knowledge of the invitation.
He simply said “I am not aware of that”.
