Ahead of the elections on Saturday, February 16th (tomorrow), men of the Nigeria Police Force have apprehended some suspected political thugs in Akwa Ibom state.
According to police report, the suspects
including a woman were arrested at D’Angelo Hotel, in Ewet Housing
Estate, Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
The hotel is said to be owned by Hon Isantim Kenneth Okon, a former chairman, Etinan local government area of the state.
The suspects were paraded at the police station, after being nabbed following a tip-off.
Investigation into the matter is still underway.
