Chelsea are expected to finalise the departure of Raheem Sterling in the coming days, with the forward poised to complete a move once an agreement is reached.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that discussions are progressing as expected. In a post on X, Romano revealed that Sterling is ready to move as negotiations continue.

“Raheem Sterling is expected to leave Chelsea in the next days and is ready to make his move soon. Chelsea and Sterling’s camp are in contact to find a solution before Monday, as Chelsea are prepared to let him leave. Talks are underway between parties,” Romano wrote.

Sterling joined Chelsea from Manchester City in 2022 and has featured in the club’s attacking setup, but his future at Stamford Bridge has remained uncertain amid limited opportunities.

The winger has been linked with several potential destinations as he seeks regular playing time. Reports indicate that Sterling has not featured in a single match this season and was forced to train separately after failing to secure a move away from Chelsea before the August 2025 transfer deadline.
