Fernandinho was quoted by FourFourTwo as saying: “I think Silva showed his class.
“He has showed his technique so many times, but today [Thursday] he was so aggressive, recovered so many balls and he proved he is very good. Silva is one of the best players in our team. He is so important for us”.
Fernandinho will hope to lead Man City to victory when they tackle Wolves on Monday in their next Premier League fixture.
