Ex-Governor Ayo Fayose Pleads Not Guilty, Denied bail As Trial Adjourned Till Wednesday
Former Governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose, was this morning arraigned before Justice Mojisola Olatoregun of the Federal High Court in Lagos on an 11-count charge bordering on money laundering, abuse of public office, criminal breach of trust and stealing, up to the tune of N4.7bn brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
At the hearing, Fayose pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The presiding judge denied his bail application and adjourned the case to Wednesday October 24th.
