Jose Mourinho was a key figure in Cesc Fabregas’ career, and the Spanish midfielder has made clear that out of all the coaches he has worked with, it was the Portuguese who best managed his head.
Mourinho requested Chelsea bring Fabregas to Stamford Bridge in 2014, with his return to Barcelona having not been as positive as hoped.
“When I was with Mourinho, I realised that he was the coach who best managed my head,” Fabregas explained in an interview with Rio Ferdinand.
