FEC Supports Buhari’s Statement On Ballot Box Snatching — Lai Mohammed

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, today disclosed
that members of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, are all in support
of the call by President Buhari for ballot box snatchers during
elections to be shot dead.

Speaking to state house correspondents after this week’s FEC meeting,
Lai Mohammed, said everyone in the cabinet is totally in support of the
decision against ballot box snatchers. 

Responding to a specific question on whether the FEC supported President Buhari, Mohammed said

“Absolutely. I mean, if you want to intimidate voters to steal the
mandate of the people, you should be able to face the wrath of the law.”
