Former NDDC MD, Timi Alaibe Returns To PDP
The former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr Timi Alaibe, has returned to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Mr Alaibe and some of his supporters were formally welcomed into the fold of the PDP on Friday by the Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson.
Governor Dickson said their departure from the All Progressives Congress signalled an end for the APC in the state.
The governor further stated that the return of Chief Alaibe into the PDP will make the party stronger and better poised for victory in the upcoming elections.
On his part, Alaibe thanked the party for receiving him, adding that his return would strengthen the party.
He said, “I have decided to be back to the PDP in my state with my teeming followership, to strengthen the PDP and support the work we are doing. Whatever the APC becomes in Bayelsa State is better imagined and you know that we have that grand support and with the teeming supporters that the PDP have maintained, added to what we are coming with, I don’t know where the APC will be in Bayelsa State”.
