France President Vows to Reduce Tax For Income Earners

France President, Emmanuel Macron has restated his desire to reduce the taxes imposed on income earners in the country. He said this in response to attacks on his decision to take down wealth tax early in the start of his term.

“I want cuts for people who work by significantly reducing income taxes, I have asked the government to implement this tax cut by financing it through the elimination of some tax breaks available for companies, by the need to work longer, and reductions in our public spending,”

“It is a reform to stimulate production, not a present for the rich,” he said
