“If I accuse Sydney Talker of rape now, y’all will believe it”— King Mitchy

A Nigerian content creator, King Mitchy, has sparked widespread debate on social media after warning about the dangers of unverified accusations and online mob justice.
In a strongly worded post shared online, King Mitchy argued that false allegations, when well packaged and emotionally written, can easily be believed by the public without any form of verification.
To make her point, she used a hypothetical example involving popular skit maker Sydney Talker, suggesting that a fabricated accusation could quickly gain traction and lead to public attacks.
King Mitchy further criticised online bullying, stating that insults and attacks do not equate to truth and should not replace evidence or due process.
