Ighalo Regrets AFCON Injury, Silent On Reported Retirement

Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, has expressed regret at ending his participation in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) with an injury., Igbere TV reports. Ighalo scored in the third minute on Wednesday to secure a 1-0 victory for Nigeria over Tunisia in the third-place match at the AFCON. The 30-year-old, however, did not speak on his reported retirement in his Instagram post on Friday. “Sad to end the tournament with an injury but I’m super proud of this team and myself ������,” he wrote.
