INEC Includes Zamfara APC Candidates On Ballot

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced it
would include the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in
Zamfara State on the ballot paper.

This was contained in a statement on Friday by its National Commissioner and Chairman, Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye.

Recall that the electoral commission had initially refused to enlist
the party candidates in all the elections for the state over
irregularities in the party’s primaries conducted in October last year.

Okoye in a statement released, said the electoral commission decided
to include Zamfara APC candidates following a ruling delivered on
Thursday by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja.
