Former governor of Delta state, James Ibori was reportedly used as a reference in an anti-bribery course abroad

A Nigerian Twitter user@Miss_Funmi who schools abroad took to her page to share a post which shows a photo of James Ibori being used as a reference with another man during an anti-bribery course.

She wrote: ‘Nigeria has blown. Was doing anti-bribery course and they used our very own James Ibori as example.’

Recall that Ibori who was governor of Delta state between 1999-2007, pleaded guilty in a London court in 2012 to a 10-count charge of fraud and money-laundering, involving sums amounting to at least 50 million pounds ($66 million).
