John Legend Becomes First African American To Win EGOT Award

John Legend has added another award to his profile.

He achieved the EGOT status (Outstanding Variety Special (Live) ) at the 2018 Emmy Awards which held on September, 9 for his role on Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert.

With this, he not only becomes the youngest to win this award, he joins other superstars like Whoopi Goldberg and Mel Brooks.

A superachiever, he also has to his name, Tony, Oscar and Grammy Awards
