Jubilation As Emir of Zazzau Wins In Court

A court ruling today has declared Alhaji Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli as the rightful 19th Emir of Zazzau. 

The judgement was given by a Kaduna State High Court sitting in Dogarawa, Sabon Gari, Zaria. 

Justice Kabir Dabo, the presiding judge, also ruled that the Emir can be inaugurated on Monday, November 9 by Governor Ahmed Nasir El-Rufai.

 The ruling followed a suit filed by Iyan Zazzau, Bashar Aminu, challenging the appointment of the new Emir. His subjects have expressed happiness over the ruling.
