“Just because you want to give N200k, you’re telling me to wait for you?” — Pastor Paul Ephraim slams church members attitude to giving

Pastor Paul Ephraim has highlighted the difference in how people approach him depending on the amount of money they intend to give, pointing out the contrasting attitudes towards small and large donations.

In a statement, Pastor Ephraim explained how some donors become overly insistent when giving smaller amounts.

Just because say you wan give Pastor N200k, you’re calling, ‘Hello, man of God, please, are you in the office? Please wait for me… wetin man go do na, I dey office,’” he said.

The pastor emphasised that such attention is unnecessary, noting that the urgency often felt by donors is not proportionate to the amount they are giving.

He contrasted this with experiences involving larger contributions, where donors tend to be less communicative.

Your friend go transfer 3 million, they no go even call me. After some time, they will just say, ‘Sorry sir, just to confirm, did you get the… oh was it you, I was trying to look for… The Lord bless you… The Lord bless you, Amen daddy,’ that’s all,” Pastor Ephraim said.
