Kidnap Attempt Foiled By Okada Men In Akwa Ibom
Cross River- The kidnap attempt on one Mathias Odo by unknown gunmen earlier today in Echumofana Ward, Yala local government area was foiled by brave youths of the community who chased the kidnappers down along with okada riders and vigilante groups.
The kidnappers finally gave up on the hot chase and abandoned both vehicle and victim to escape to freedom. Sadly one of the chasers was killed when the kidnappers shot at him from behind after he overtook them.
The vehicle has been towed to the police station for investigation.
