According to reports, unidentified gunmen attacked Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello on Sunday.
The shooters in military attire are reported to have carried out the attack, which happened in the Kwali neighborhood of Abuja at around 4 p.m.
Shortly after the attack, Kingsley Fanwo, the state commissioner of information and communication, announced this in a statement.
