Kylian Mbappe was officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player in front of tens of thousands of fans at Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.
The club signed Mbappe to a five-year deal, ending his seven-year stint at Paris Saint-Germain.
A montage of Real Madrid’s historical successes and Luciano Pavarotti’s “Nessun Dorma” preceded Mbappé’s entrance into the stadium, followed by a highlight reel of his goals.
This has been a highly-anticipated moment for Real Madrid fans, eager to see the 25-year-old, one of the world’s best players, in their famous white jersey.
His official unveiling concludes one of soccer’s longest-running transfer sagas, with Mbappé long aspiring to move to the Spanish capital.
Despite his considerable domestic success winning six French league titles with PSG and one with AS Monaco he has yet to add a Champions League title to his achievements.
