Lady questions why women dominate church programs
A lady has sparked conversation online after sharing her observations about the large number of women at church programs compared to men.
Speaking about a recent Christian gathering, she noted that the ratio appeared to be heavily skewed — estimating “20 women to one man.” According to her, she found it uncomfortable that whenever the pastor declared, “You will marry,” the loudest responses came from women.
She pointed out that when prayers were made about spiritual growth, the response wasn’t nearly as energetic. However, once marriage was mentioned, the atmosphere shifted dramatically.
While acknowledging that marriage is a beautiful thing and something worth desiring when done right, she stressed that women should pursue other goals alongside it. She also argued that women should stop aggressively chasing marriage when, in her view, many men are not equally intentional about it.
She further claimed that many of the men present at such programs are either brought by their wives or girlfriends, or are part of the organizing team, adding that the visible imbalance raises questions about engagement levels.
