Lady turns down scholarship because boyfriend dislikes long distance relationship

A young lady has taken to social media to reveal that she turned down an international scholarship because her boyfriend was unwilling to be in a long-distance relationship.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), she explained that she made the difficult decision to forgo the opportunity after her boyfriend insisted he couldn’t handle the distance.

However, just a week later, she discovered he had cheated on her.

Expressing her frustration, she wrote: “The bar is so low. I missed out on an international scholarship because he said he couldn’t do long distance. (He cheated on me a week after) ‍ I even lied at home, saying I didn’t get the scholarship. ”
