There has been a crazy rumour making the rounds that the Lekki Concession Company plans to increase the toll tariff on the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge by 100%. This means that cars that pay ₦300 will now pay ₦600. This rumour was further fuelled by an article in a newspaper.

However, the management of the Lekki Concession Company have now debunked the rumour. They say that there is no plan to increase the toll tariff on the bridge.
