German ace touted for Old Trafford switch
Manchester United are leading the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz – according to The Sun.
The 18-year-old has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in Europe since breaking into the first team at Bay Arena last year and is now valued at £60 million ($80m).
Wirtz is thought to be happy to continue his development at Leverkusen, but Ralf Rangnick is hoping to convince a fellow German to join his project at Old Trafford.
