Marcos Llorente’s Uncle: I Didn’t Even Expect Him To Come On Against Liverpool

Julio Llorente, the uncle of Marcos Llorente, has admitted he didn’t even expect his nephew to make it onto the pitch at Anfield.

Diego Simeone put Llorente on in the 56th minute of Atletico Madrid’s Champions League tie with Liverpool and the midfielder ended up being the hero, scoring twice in extra time.

“I didn’t even think Marcos was going to get on,” Julio said on Radio MARCA.
