
West Ham are adamant they have no pre-planned price a potential suitor has to hit to buy Declan Rice.
Leaving it to market forces could be an interesting strategy, especially if Rice only wants to join Arsenal.
That knowledge may persuade the Gunners to bid low, even though there are higher offers on the table elsewhere.
After this evening’s parade, Rice has a couple of England games to play. It is only after that we will get an idea of how quickly any transfer could move.
