Brazil and Orlando Pride standout Marta has revealed her intention to retire from international soccer later this year.

Should Marta be chosen for the Brazilian squad at the Paris 2024 Olympics, it would mark her sixth appearance at the Games.
Marta’s remarkable career includes an unparalleled achievement: winning the FIFA Player of the Year award six times, a feat unmatched by any other women’s player. Notably, she claimed this prestigious accolade five consecutive years from 2006 to 2010, showcasing her dominance on the global stage.
