Genge is a style of Kenyan hip-hop characterized by its energetic beats, catchy hooks, and unique urban Swahili slang.
Mejja gained popularity as a member of the music group The Kansoul, alongside fellow artists KidKora and Madtraxx. The Kansoul released several hit songs, including “Dabotap” and “Mabega,” which garnered them a loyal fan base in Kenya and East Africa.
