In a statement issued on September 24 by the agency’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, it was revealed that the agency had seized over 4,000kg of illicit drugs during raids in Lagos, Kogi, the Federal Capital Territory, Kaduna, Sokoto, and Edo. They had also destroyed 40 tons of cannabis plants in Ekiti and were on their way to Abuja.
